Why laundering method matters for FR garments
The wrong detergent eliminates the protection.
Flame-resistant garments carry their protection in the fiber or a chemical treatment applied to the fabric. Both are degraded by fabric softeners, optical brighteners, starches, and chlorine bleach — all common in standard laundry.
We use detergents and wash chemistry verified to be free of these agents. Every FR batch is processed separately, at the correct temperature, on cycles that do not stress the FR treatment. The protection the garment left the factory with is the protection it returns to work with.

NFPA 2112, NFPA 70E, ANSI/ISEA 107.
We accommodate garments certified under NFPA 2112 (flash fire), NFPA 70E (arc flash), and ANSI/ISEA 107 (high-visibility). High-visibility FR garments — Class 2 and Class 3 — require wash settings that preserve both the FR treatment and the retroreflective tape. We apply both.
