General

Do you offer pickup & delivery?

Yes — we pick up and deliver across our 20-mile South Bay service zone, with 24-hour standard turnaround. See our Pickup & Delivery page for how it works, pricing, and how to schedule.

What are your hours?

Daily 7 AM to 10 PM. Last wash is 8:30 PM. We are open every day of the year — we will publish any holiday-specific changes in advance via Google Business Profile and on the homepage.

Where are you located?

El Porto Laundry — 3921 Highland Avenue, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266. We are on the corner of 40th Street and Highland Avenue in the El Porto District, two blocks from the beach.

How do I pay?

We accept all major credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay through our online booking and at the counter. Self-service machines are card-operated. The Locals Pass — our unlimited self-service subscription — is billed monthly through CleanCloud.

What is your delivery area?

We deliver inside a 10-mile radius of 3921 Highland Avenue, Manhattan Beach. The radius covers Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, El Segundo, Hawthorne, Westchester, Marina del Rey, Playa del Rey, Playa Vista, and Inglewood. Out-of-zone addresses are routed to drop-off or self-service at our storefront.

Self Service

What are your self-service hours?

Daily 7 AM to 10 PM. Last wash is 8:30 PM to ensure a complete cycle before close. We are fully attended every operating hour.

Is the laundromat attended?

Yes — every operating hour. Daily 7 AM to 10 PM, you will find an attendant on-site to assist with machines, change cards, answer questions, or help with bulky items. We are not a kiosk and not remotely operated.

What sizes are your machines?

Our card-operated machines run from a single-load size up through king-comforter capacity. Larger machines are appropriate for bedding, sleeping bags, comforters, and bulky items.

What is the Locals Pass?

The Locals Pass is an unlimited self-service subscription managed through CleanCloud. It pencils out for households running three or more loads per week. Sign up at the counter or through CleanCloud.

Wash & Fold

How much does wash and fold cost?

Wash and fold is $2.50 per pound with a $30 minimum. Standard turnaround is 24 hours. Same-day Express service is $2.75 per pound on orders placed before noon. A $15 Priority Rush add-on starts your order immediately on receipt.

Is there a minimum order?

Yes. The minimum order is $30, which covers the first twelve pounds. Smaller loads are still welcome — they are simply billed at the $30 minimum.

Do you offer same-day service?

Yes. Same-day Express service is available on orders placed before noon, priced at $2.75 per pound. Add the $15 Priority Rush option to start the order immediately on receipt.

Do you separate colors and fabrics?

Yes. Standard orders are sorted by color and fabric, washed in modern high-efficiency machines, dried at the right heat for each load, and folded to a consistent fold. If you have specific care instructions for any item, note them at drop-off or in your pickup booking.

Can I request hang-dry or low-heat?

Yes. Specify hang-dry, low-heat, or no-heat preferences at drop-off or in your pickup booking notes. We follow the care instructions you provide; if no instructions are given, we use the default heat setting appropriate for the fabric.

Commercial Service

How do I get a commercial laundry quote?

Submit the quote form at elportolaundry.com/commercial/quote. We respond within one hour during business hours (daily 7 AM – 10 PM). The form asks for your industry, estimated weekly volume, and frequency. No commitment is required at the quoting stage.

How is commercial laundry priced?

Commercial accounts are priced per pound with minimums negotiated based on volume and pickup frequency. Pickup and delivery are included for locations within our service zone. We provide a written per-pound rate and weekly minimum at the time of quoting.

Do you serve businesses outside Manhattan Beach?

Yes. Commercial accounts are not restricted to the 10-mile residential service zone. We serve businesses across the South Bay and West LA. Location is confirmed during the quote process.

Do you carry liability insurance for commercial linen?

Yes. Commercial linen liability coverage is negotiated per account as part of onboarding. Specific coverage limits and certificate of insurance (COI) requirements are handled during the account setup conversation.

How does commercial account pickup work?

After account setup, you prepare your laundry in the bags we provide. Our driver picks up on the scheduled day and window. Clean, folded laundry is returned on the agreed turnaround — typically 24 hours for standard accounts, same-day Express available on request.
